Both sides in the second murder trial for Kimberly Faust will offer the jury their closing arguments Thursday in Otoe County.

The jury is expected to go into deliberations after closing arguments are made.

Faust was originally found guilty of killing Shannon Bluhm, girlfriend of Faust's estranged husband Bruce Faust, and Robert Parminter, a good samaritan who tried to help Bluhm.

The state Supreme Court ordered Kimberly Faust a new trial in May. Wednesday the jury heard from Kimberly Faust, Bruce Faust and a surprise witness from the prosecution.

The witness testified that she saw Kimberly Faust outside of Bluhm's hair salon the night Bluhm was killed.

Several times during Kimberly Faust's testimony, she said she was never near the salon, or even the town of Eagle, where the salon was located.

Bluhm's family said the new witness was not in the first trial, but came forward when she heard about the re-trial.
