The Hall County Sheriff's department has a few new tools to help it do its job.
Through a grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety, the department now has six additional hand-held breathalyzers. Now each uniformed officer will have their own.
Sheriff Jerry Watson says the new tools will allow deputies to do preliminary breath tests on the street to help in making decisions about whether to arrest someone for drunken driving.
