The Otoe County Sheriff's Office said the accident happened just after 3:30 p.m. on the north edge of town.
The driver of the car lost control in the snow and hit the side of the Nebraska City Public School bus.
Three children were transported to a hospital and were released. The driver of the car also was taken to the hospital and did not appear to have serious injuries.
