He's accused of embezzling money from the party's bank accounts.
Fifty-seven-year-old James R. Ritzman was arrested for felony, theft by deception. Court documents say Ritzman used money from the Lancaster County Democrats checking account for his personal use.
A search warrant also states Ritzman did not have authority to use those funds.
Ritzman's arraignment is scheduled for the end of the month.
