Services have been set for a 24-year-old Chambers man who was fatally injured when his vehicle ran off a rural highway and struck a tree in north-central Nebraska.
Holt County authorities say Brand Lucht was alone in his vehicle, driving west on state Highway 95 shortly after noon on Saturday. His vehicle ran through oncoming traffic into the south roadside ditch, where it hit the tree.
The accident occurred about two miles east of Chambers.
After freeing Lucht from the wreckage, rescue workers took him to Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill. He died there Sunday.
Services are scheduled for Wednesday in Chambers.
