Three teenagers are accused of dropping rocks or throwing them from an overpass at vehicles on Interstate 80 in the Panhandle of far western Nebraska.
A news release from patrol spokeswoman Deb Collins says the three teens were taken to Kimball County Jail, cited for criminal mischief and released to their parents on Oct. 13.
The three had been in a car stopped near the overpass by a Kimball County deputy.
The patrol says a trooper talked to the drivers of three semitrailers that had stopped east of the overpass. Two of their vehicles had shattered windshields; the sleeper cab of the third truck was dented.
No injuries were reported.
