The Butler County Sheriff's department says 56-year-old Terrance Rech was killed when his SUV collided with a tractor-trailer.
The accident happened Thursday night about 11:30 on Nebraska Highway 15 north of David City.
The sheriff's department says the David City man's vehicle crossed the centerline, and the on-coming semi-truck struck it.
