UNL Virologist to Lecture on HIV/AIDS History
Lincoln, Neb. University of Nebraska-Lincoln virologist Charles Wood will present a lecture Nov. 10 reviewing the historical aspect of HIV/AIDS since its discovery in 1981.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln virologist Charles Wood will present a lecture Nov. 10 reviewing the historical aspect of HIV/AIDS since its discovery in 1981.
The lecture will focus on the disease's impact in sub-Saharan Africa.
Wood directs the Nebraska Center for Virology, which has conducted research on the disease in Africa.
The free public lecture, "HIV/AIDS epidemic: What have we learned in the past 28 years?" will be at 3:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Nebraska Union.
