Woman Escapes Robbery Attempt
Lincoln Police say a woman escaped a would-be robber Wednesday night.

Police say a woman escaped a would-be robber Wednesday night.
Officer Katie Flood said a woman was walking to her car at 11:05 Wednesday night when a black male rode up on a bike, yelling at her.
Flood said the woman ignored him, but when he got closer he grabbed her backpack and tried to steal it. Flood said the woman fought him off and was able to get into her car and get away.
The suspect is described as a black male with a dark coat and hood. He was riding a mountain bike.
