Corn to Blame For One Car Accident in Rural Hastings
Hastings The Nebraska State Patrol says the car slid on harvest debris before rolling over.

The Nebraska State Patrol said that on Monday at 1:33 pm there was a one car rollover accident south of Hastings.
Kaelynn Kimminau, 40, of Hastings was driving a 2003 Honda Civic on Route 6 about 1 1/2 miles south of Showboat Blvd. when the accident occured.
The NSP accident report indicates Kimminau's Honda slid on corn mesh and lost control, sliding into a ditch, and then hitting a telephone pole before flipping onto it's side.
Kimminau was taken to Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings for an arm injury.
It is not known if seat belts were in use at the time of the accident. No estimate of damage was immediately available.
