Sergeant John Walsh says just after 1:00 a.m. Thursday, Lincoln police officers spotted a go-cart driving on the street near 20th and G street. Walsh says the officers stopped the go-cart and found out the male driver had warrants after running his name.
Walsh says friends who following the go-cart in a real vehicle, were also contacted by the Lincoln Police Department. Police say the driver of that vehicle was driving on a suspended license and the passenger also had warrants.
In all, three men were arrested and the go-cart was impounded.
According to Walsh, alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this incident.
