Action Movie Star Coming To Hastings
Hastings Movie star and martial arts expert Richard Norton will be teaching classes in Hastings.

The Heartland Martial Arts League and South Central Taekwondo of Hastings and Grand Island is hosting action movie star and martial artist, Richard Norton at Central Community College in Hastings on December 5th.
Richard Norton is a martial arts icon, bodyguard to the rich and famous and international movie star.
His training experience in the martial arts goes back over 48 years now.
Richard first gained notoriety as a martial artist in the seventies when he worked alongside Kyoshi Bob Jones in the development of the world famous Zen Do Kai system of karate.
It was during this period that Richard met martial artist and move actor, Chuck Norris.
Richard has worked as a bodyguard and began working for top celebrities such as David Bowie, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, the Rolling Stones, Stevie Nicks and the late John Belushi.
His most visible role for Hong Kong film fans has been as the villain in the Jackie Chan movie, 1997's MR. NICE GUY .
On December 5th, Richard will be teaching a children's grappling seminar in the morning and an adult reality based self defense training in the afternoon.
Martial artists from across Nebraska will be there to advance and expand their knowledge. While martial arts experience is not required to participate in the seminars, it is recommended.
