2009 Nouveau Wine Release Friday Evening at Mac's Creek
Lexington, Nebraska New 2009 vintage wines from Mac’s Creek will be released at a special wine tasting event Friday at the Mac’s Creek Winery near Lexington.

New 2009 vintage wines from Mac’s Creek will be released at a special wine tasting event Friday at the Mac’s Creek Winery near Lexington.
The tasting, set for 5-9 pm, will include wines from the local winery, appetizers and entertainment by Mike Adams Duo.
The winery uses 10 different types of grapes, including red and white varieties for their wines. Wines to be released at Friday’s event are the 2009 Edelweiss, 2009 Brianna, 2009 River Valley Red, 2008 Buffalo Wallow and 2008 Ringneck Red.
Mac’s Creek Vineyards & Winery is family owned and operated by the McFarland family and is located one-half mile north of Lexington, Nebraska on U.S. Highway 21. The 12-acre vineyard lies along the banks of the Spring Creek.
Seasonal hours are Thursdays noon-6 pm, Fridays noon-7 pm, Saturdays noon-6 pm and Sundays, 1-5 pm. The Prairie Bistro is open Saturdays from noon-3pm.
The event is free and open to the public. Those attending are required to be age 21 or older.
