Permits Available for Christmas Trees from Nebraska National Forest
Chadron Permits will soon be available for those wanting to venture into the Nebraska National Forest to cut their Christmas tree.

Permits will soon be available for those wanting to venture into the Nebraska National Forest to cut their Christmas tree.
Permits may be purchased for $10 beginning Monday. They'll be available at the Pine Ridge Ranger District/Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands Supervisor's office in Chadron. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Each permit will include a map that identifies national forest areas on the Pine Ridge Ranger District available to harvest a tree.
Permit holders are asked to respect private land boundaries and leave gates as they find them.
