Permits may be purchased for $10 beginning Monday. They'll be available at the Pine Ridge Ranger District/Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands Supervisor's office in Chadron. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Each permit will include a map that identifies national forest areas on the Pine Ridge Ranger District available to harvest a tree.
