A Lincoln man has been sentenced to more than 14 years in prison after being found guilty of distributing methamphetamine for a second time.

U.S. Attorney Mike Heavican says 32-year-old Michael Poole has been sentenced by a federal judge to 12 years and five months for conspiring to distribute meth. He says the activity occurred between June 2001 and February 2003.

The charges stem from Poole's activity in the Lincoln area while on supervised release. He had been sentenced on the same charge in July 1999. Poole has been ordered to serve an additional two years for violating his release.
