Lincoln police say two people who tried to stop a group of uninvited guests from stealing a television during a house party ended up getting beaten up by the thieves.
Several party crashers showed up early Saturday, and a guest noticed them leaving with the hosts' 42-inch flat-screen TV in tow.
Two people who tried to stop them outside were assaulted.
Police later found two of the vehicles the thieves left in, along with a video-game system stolen from the house. The $350 television was not recovered.
Police said they have no suspects.
