Dog Attacks Man's Face
Omaha A Heartland man tells Omaha Police he was attacked while walking in his neighborhood by an unfamiliar black dog. Now the 24-year-old victim is recovering from his injuries.

A Heartland man tells Omaha Police he was attacked while walking in his neighborhood by an unfamiliar black dog. Now the 24-year-old victim is recovering from his injuries.
The attack happened shortly before 10PM on Thursday, November 19th. The victim was in his Spring Lake Park Neighborhood, in the area of 20th and H Streets when the dog approached him.
According to the police report the large black dog was growling at him, then lunged. The dogs teeth cut into the man's face at his eyebrow.
The report also indicates the attack also tore the victim's left ear.
The dog was not found, the report does not indicate whether or not rabies shots are scheduled.
