Because of complications in coordinating schedules, Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra’s board,
artistic leadership and its featured guest artist for the March 13, 2010 concert, “Stand By Me,” have decided to cancel
the concert after thoughtfully considering several options.
LSO Music Director Edward Polochick is committed to ensuring that every program offered to LSO patrons is of the
highest artistic quality.
“With the short time frame, it’s not feasible for us to put together a comparable program,” he said. “We felt it best to
wait until we could offer an exciting, high caliber program to our pops audience next season.”
Patrons have been contacted and are encouraged to exchange their tickets for one of the following concerts, or to
exchange tickets for a gift certificate, donation or refund.
