A Lincoln woman made an appearance in Lancaster County Court Tuesday in connection with a stabbing death over the weekend in Lincoln.

According to court records, 35-year old Lisa Ramirez-Rodriguez has been charged with second degree murder in the death of 31-year old Christopher Grant. She had been arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault and use of weapon to commit a felony.

Bond was set by Judge Mary Doyle at 10 percent of $1 million and a preliminary hearing was set for December 10. A public defender has been appointed to represent Ramirez-Rodriguez.

Records show Ramirez-Rodriguez was denied a domestic abuse protection order against Grant in 2007. Grant's criminal record included convictions for domestic assault, assault, theft and disturbing the peace.

According to police, the stabbing incident took place Saturday afternoon in the apartment where Ramirez-Rodriguez lived at 240 S. 26th Street in Lincoln.
