Organizers say country music star Randy Travis will be featured at the Cattlemen's Ball in June.
Travis has had 22 No. 1 hits and six No. 1 albums, earning six Grammy awards and several honors from the country-music industry.
The ball is scheduled for June 4-5 on an acreage south of Kearney.
The Cattlemen's Ball raises money for cancer research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and for local health care agencies.
Other ball activities include a prime rib dinner, a dance, craft fair, fashion show and silent auction.
