A Norfolk man has been arrested on suspicion of felony child abuse.
Police say they began investigating 31-year-old Jeremy Dewitt earlier this month after receiving a tip that he may have used drugs in the presence of a 4-year-old child. Dewitt was taken into custody Wednesday.
The child has been removed from the home and placed in state custody.
Dewitt remained in the Madison County jail on Friday.
