Plans to build a hotel at 11th and M streets in Lincoln are moving forward.
The city approved the hotel's master plan. So now a site plan is in order.
At this week's Lincoln City Council meeting, members will vote to put the site plan for the hotel on the agenda.
If it makes it on the agenda, there will be time to discuss the site plan - and hear what community members think about it - at a future meeting.
Doug Emery, "We'll be letting the public know when the public hearing is going to be so that if there are concerns or there re things that people want to see in the site plan or see what the initial site plan looks like, they'll have am opportunity to come down and be part of that. "
The Lincoln City Council has three more meetings for the remainder of 2009.
The next meeting is Monday evening at 5:30.
