A 28-year-old registered nurse has pleaded guilty to fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs while working at the Fremont Area Medical Center.
After a deal with prosecutors, Robert Stanton of Hooper pleaded guilty on Monday to two felony counts. Two other counts were dismissed.
A Fremont detective says the prescription fraud occurred at area pharmacies between July and September.
Stanton has tentative approval to enter Dodge County Drug Court. If he were to successfully complete the 18- to 20-month program, his case would be dismissed.
If he were to fail, he would be called back to district court for sentencing.
