Temporary I-80 Closure East of Lincoln
Lincoln Weather permitting, the eastbound lanes of I-80 will be shut down at 11 p.m., Sunday,December 13, between the Waverly Interchange (MM 409) and the Greenwood Interchange
(MM 420), according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.

Weather permitting, the eastbound lanes of I-80 will be shut down at 11 p.m., Sunday,December 13, between the Waverly Interchange (MM 409) and the Greenwood Interchange(MM 420), according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
The eastbound lanes will be closed until 6 a.m. Monday morning, December 14.
Eastbound I-80 traffic will be detoured onto Highway 6 at the Waverly Interchange
(Exit 409), east on Highway 6 to Highway 63, then south on Highway 63 to the I-80 Greenwood Interchange (MM 420).
The closure is needed to allow work on the 134th Street Bridge over I-80. The contractor for this work is Hawkins Construction Co. of Omaha.
Work will be rescheduled in case of inclement weather. Motorists should watch for detour signs and reduced speed limits.
