Anger over senator Ben Nelson's support of health care reform.
Nearly 2,000 people rally in Omaha, hoping he's listening.
A group called Americans for Prosperity in Nebraska gathered a crowd for a rally in Omaha, in a little more than 24 hours.
The group's message is two fold -- reconsider your vote Senator Nelson and remember your decision when elections roll around.
With their signs in hand, Nebraskans filled Omaha's Music Hall, rallying against the senate health care bill and Sen. Nelson's support for it.
"I think that's why we're all here. To get him to listen to us," said one rally attendee.
Nebraska State Auditor Mike Foley, State Treasurer Shane Osborn and a host of state senators also attended the rally.
Sen. Fulton said he's disappointed in Nelson's decision.
"I think he was acting, in his opinion, in the best interest of Nebraska, but the fact of the matter is one day he wasn't in favor of it, the next day he was and in between this time and that time, there was a lot of money," said Fulton.
The rally is just part of the fall out Nelson is facing for giving his vote to senate democrats.
His vote will allow the senate to push its health care legislation through by Christmas.
As debate over the bill continued in Washington Sunday, republicans lashed out, criticizing the deal Nelson negotiated. As part of the compromise, Nebraska would get tens of millions of dollars in federal Medicaid funding.
"You cook up a deal in a back room that's essentially sleazy in my view to allow one state to be held harmless for medicaid enrollees to get that vote and make the rest of us go home and have 'em say " Why couldn't you in South Carolina and Georgia get that deal?" said Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham, of South Carolina, while speaking on the floor.
States would also be required to provide an insurance option that doesn't cover abortion -- an effort to prevent federal funding for such procedures.
While the senate appears to have it's 60 votes, it needs to prove it in a series of votes to move forward. The first vote begins at 1:00 a.m. E.T. Monday morning.
In Washington D.C. and here in Nebraska, democrats are thanking Nelson for his diligence and vote.
"Ben Nelson helped us help ourselves, that's what we need in a senator and I expect him to be re-elected if he wants to," said Vic Covalt, State Chair of the Nebraska Democratic Party.
But others say the vote could cost Nelson his senate seat come election time.
The main message at the rally was for those opposed to the senate health care bill to voice their opinions, but Sen. Fulton said also lingering was the message of " Don't Forget".
"If our elected officials don't adequately represent what we want them to represent then we ultimately have the authority to either rehire them, or retire them," said Fulton, describing what he expects to hear as a strong message in the coming months and years.

The odds of anyone remembering what Nelson did are infinitesimally small. He'll be re-elected, just like Barack Obama. People were stupid enough to vote for them once, they'll be stupid enough to vote for them again.
No special deals for Nebraska in health care bill. Thanks Senator Johanns, Governor Heineman, Senator Graham and Mike Huckabee for standing up for what is right. Surely one the closed door deals wouldn't be to pad a retirement fund, which is what Senator Nelsons vote assures in 2012. Or should it be sooner?
Please DO NOT let your family and friends forget (in 2012) what Ben Nelson did to all of us, not only as Nebraskans, but as AMERICANS! He had the power to change our country (for the worse) or, preserve America for our children and grandchildren. He chose to be a part of destroying our family's futures.
