Lincoln police are investigating another daytime burglary. The latest high dollar crime brings the total to 3 in 3 days.
The first two burglaries happened in the same neighborhood, in the 2100 block of 17th and 18th Streets. $21,000 was taken in the first, $6,000 in the second.
Officer Katie Flood said the latest crime is just as big, but in a different area. Flood said Thursday someone broke into a home near 43rd and Briar Park Drive sometime before 5:00 pm.
Flood said the victims came home to an open garage door. The outside door and the door leading into the house were both kicked in. Once inside Flood said the thieves stole $21,440 worth of electronics, jewelry, tools, cash and clothes.
Police say there is enough similarities to believe all three crimes may be related.
