Police are investigating two fatal shootings that occurred about four hours apart in north Omaha.

Around 3:10 p.m. on Monday, officers were called a shooting near 48th and Bedford Avenue. They found a teenage boy in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound.

The 15-year-old, a sophomore at Benson High School, was pronounced dead at the scene.

About four hours later, officers were called to a home near 61st and Jaynes. They found a man who had been shot several times. He was pronounced dead there.

The victims' names have not been released, and no arrests have been reported.
