Educause's Katz to Speak on Cloud Computing at NUTech Day March 17

Educause Vice President Richard N. Katz will present a luncheon keynote address at the March 17 NUTech Day.
Katz's speech, "The Tower and the Cloud: Higher Education in the Age of Cloud Computing," will provide up-to-date insights on this important development.
Katz is the founder of the Educause Center for Applied Research, now the largest research service devoted exclusively to information technology issues in higher education. The mission of the nonprofit Educause organization is to advance the mission of higher education through intelligent use of information technology. Katz previously led the University of California's development and implementation of strategic management initiatives. His book, "Dancing with the Devil," was named one of the 10 most important education related books of 1999 by Lingua Franca. Katz is the author or co-author of six other books, four major research studies and more than 70 articles and monographs on a variety of management and technology topics.
