The best thing this Game Commission could ever do is get rid of the steel shot. This whole mess was stated by some looney in the Republic of Kalifornia who thought that maybe some waterfowl was dying because of lead poisoining. He never mentioned how many cripples suffered a long painfull death there were because of steel shot. I quit hunting because of that like many other hunters. Now the Game Commission is crying because the hunting license sales have dropped.

I would like to see the Canada Goose season start earlier in the panhandle and run later into the spring. Since there is a large population of Canada Geese and they traditionally come into this region three weeks earlier than season has started it would benefit hunters here. Running the season longer would be good also.
