Lincoln police arrested a man Wednesday afternoon for burglary, trespassing, and public nudity.
Officer Katie Flood says around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday morning, a woman was looking out her window in the Capital Beach area. Flood says the woman saw 24-year-old Andrew Alvaro on her neighbor's dock. Flood says it appeared he was looking through the bar area on the dock.
Flood says the woman confronted Alvaro, and he made rambling statements to her. The woman called police, and Flood says officers located Alvaro in a nearby boat, completely naked.
The woman who witnessed Alvaro was able to positively identify him as the man on her neighbor's dock. Flood says Alvaro was first observed in the 600 block of Pier 2. Flood says Alvaro had items from a nearby home, including a laptop computer and alcohol. The total theft loss in the case was around $1,183.
