A Grand Island man acquitted of murder charges now has a warrant issued for his arrest.
Arkanjelo Kot was supposed to appear in Hall County District Court Wednesday for assaulting a corrections officer while in jail.
When he didn't show, the judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
Kot was found not guilty in November of the shooting death of Walid Omar Aden.
