The autopsy of a 10-year-old Omaha boy who died suddenly after exhibiting flu-like symptoms didn't yield any immediate answers.
Douglas County Chief Deputy Sheriff Martin Belik says Saturday's autopsy of Sydney Kola didn't reveal the cause of death.
Kola died Friday after collapsing at his west Omaha home. Medics who were treated the boy found him unresponsive.
Belik says lab tests may explain why the boy died, but the results won't be available for about a month.
Sydney was a Kenyan national who moved to the United States last year to live with his mother. Sydney was a student at Omaha's King Science and Technology Magnet Center.
The autopsy did not show any signs of foul play.
