Authorities say a central Nebraska man who was trying to shoot a possum accidentally shot himself in a leg.
Authorities say the accident occurred a little before 7 p.m. Sunday at a residence outside of St. Libory.
The man told rescue workers that he'd been using a .22-caliber weapon in trying to shoot the possum when he accidentally shot himself in a calf.
