A nonprofit financial service in Nebraska is collecting cleaning supplies for use in kit to help flood victims along the Missouri River.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans offices in Omaha, Syracuse and Lincoln will take donations of cleaning supplies from Thursday through Saturday.
Items most needed include cleansing powder, liquid cleaner, bleach, glass cleaner, scrub brushes, rubber gloves, sponges, paper towels and brooms and mops.
This year's Missouri River flooding forced thousands to flee their homes, inundated farmland and caused millions of dollars of damage in river towns from Montana to Nebraska.
