The Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission has ruled in favor of Gage County in a complaint filed by the county's former highway superintendent.
Friday the commission ruled the evidence fails to support Marlin
Kliewer's allegations of discrimination, and closed the case.
Kliewer claimed retaliation by the board of supervisors for his support of the county's weed control superintendent, who filed a sex discrimination complaint against the county. Kliewer and Emily Rosenthal resigned last September.
Kliewer is running for the District 6 seat held by board of supervisors chairman Rex Adams. The primary election is May 15.
