Lancaster County Sheriff Deputies' continue to investigate a home break in where more than $2,000 in items were taken.
It happened Tuesday between 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the rural Bennet area.
Investigators say someone got inside through an unlocked garage door.
The burglar made off with $2,000 in jewelry, change, a laptop, a safe box and dental records.
Deputies say this is a good reminder to make sure all door and windows to your home and garage are locked.
