A Wymore man is in jail after Lancaster County Sheriff's deputies had to forcibly remove him from his car.
Donald Harless was arrested Thursday night on drug charges and obstructing an officer.
Sheriff Terry Wagner said Harless was sitting in his car near South 12th Street and Firth Road for more than an hour when a deputy arrived.
He said the deputy discovered Harless had a pipe with methamphetamine residue and was driving under a suspended license.
Wagner said Harless refused to get out of his car. That's when the deputy smashed out the window to get him.
