The FBI says one person was wounded in a shooting involving a tribal police officer on the Winnebago Indian Reservation in northeast Nebraska.
FBI spokeswoman Sandy Breault says the shooting happened Monday night.
Breault says Tuesday that the person who was shot suffered non-life threatening injures. She no names have been released. She also says no details about what led the shooting are being released because it's an ongoing investigation.
According to its web site, the Winnebago Indian Reservation is home to about 2,600 people. The Winnebago Tribe operates a casino in Sloan in western Iowa.
