U.S. and Nebraska flags will be flown at half-staff on Friday to honor the late astronaut Neil Armstrong.
Gov. Dave Heineman made the announcement following a proclamation from President Barack Obama.
Armstrong, the first human to set foot on the moon, died on Saturday. He was 82. Armstrong was the commander of the Apollo 11 spacecraft that landed on the moon on July 20, 1969.
In a statement, Heineman says Armstrong's actions inspired the world.
