Authorities say that Saltillo Road between 77th and South 25th streets have reopened after being shut down due to an ethanol spill early Thursday morning.
Southwest Rural Fire District Officials say about 150 gallons of pure ethanol leaked out of a truck as it was being unloaded a fuel farm at 1345 Saltillo Road. Sergeant Derek Horalek said the roads were shut down due to safety reasons.
Sergeant Horalek said the pure ethanol was highly poisonous.
