A 21-year-old woman accused of motor vehicle homicide has pleaded no contest to the charge.

Officials said Britteney Baker struck and killed motorcyclist Donald McCarville near Grand Island in June. She then fled the scene.

Wednesday, the state dropped a false reporting charge.

Baker's sentencing is set for February 19.

Her bond of 10 percent of $100,000 has been continued.
