The big snow storm caused the roof of a historic barn to cave in. It now has to be demolished.
Harvey W. Ehlers was at the mid-point of building the historic round barn on June 27, 1923.
He, his wife and their four sons - commemorated the event by stepping in wet concrete.
Every impression remains visible today.
The barn was eventually passed down to Harvey's grandson, Don.
But what took two years to build and has been standing tall for nearly 90 years, came crashing down Saturday with heavy snow fall to blame.
The roof caved in.
Don, admits. It could have been a lot worse.
No one was inside the barn, when the roof collapsed.
Because of it's age and the amount of damage, the barn has to be demolished.
Still, as the snow melts - Don says his fond memories, won't.
