Nebraska students can win an iPad by producing a video that promotes energy efficiency in a clever way.

The Nebraska Public Power District is sponsoring the contest.

Students who want to compete have to produce a 27-second video touting energy efficiency.

NPPD's Chad Johnson says the utility is looking for creative ways to encourage people to save energy.

The contest is open to Nebraska students in grades seven through 12. The videos will be judged by a panel of industry experts.
