Lincoln Police: Elderly Man Uses Cane in Fight at Retirement Home

Lincoln Police responded to an unusual fight at a Lincoln retirement home on Thursday.

Police say a 78-year-old man and an 86-year-old man at living at Legacy Estates got into a fight over a Hawaiian shirt.

A police report states the younger of the two men then punched the other man in the face and hit him in the stomach with his cane.

The 78-year-old man was cited and released for Assault.
