Authorities say a phone tip helped police find and arrest a prisoner who had escaped from a work release program in Omaha.

20-year-old Charles Tolbert was arrested Wednesday after officers surrounded a home where he was visiting.

The Nebraska Correctional Services Department says Tolbert was imprisoned for a March 2009 robbery in Omaha. He escaped the work
release program on Dec. 6.

The department says Tolbert's projected release date had been March 2013.
