The Nebraska Veterans Council has announced a boycott of Hall County.
A statement says the decision was made at the group's November meeting.
"[A] motion was made and seconded to not hold any conventions in Hall County until the Hall County Board dissolve their Veterans Home Committee and discharges the Hall County Veterans Service Officer," said Chairman Eric Williams.
That motion was passed unanimously.
Veteran Service Officer Don Shuda has attracted both praise and criticism for his relationship with the Grand Island Veterans' Home.
