Neb. County Agency's Personality Test Criticized

A Hall County supervisor says a personality assessment sought by a regional economic development district board director is a waste of time and money.

Supervisor Gary Quandt says the executive director of the South Central Economic Development District wants all members of her board to take the test. Quandt represents Hall County on the board, which serves 13 counties.

At a board meeting last week, Supervisors Steve Schuppan and Dan Purdy backed Quandt's decision to skip the test.

The district executive director, Sharon Hueftle, says the tests cost $6.50 each.

Hueftle says the tests will help her and board members get to know each other better and understand how different personalities communicate and make decisions.
