Authorities are investigating an overnight hit-and-run crash that killed an Omaha woman.
Omaha police said Ashley M. Rodriguez died just before 2 a.m. Sunday, after she was struck by an eastbound vehicle.
The 26-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say they have not found any witnesses, but evidence at the scene suggests that the vehicle involved is an older model Ford pickup or SUV.
They say the collision likely broke the vehicle's passenger-side headlight and turn signal.
Police say speed was not a factor in the collision.
