A Nebraska charity that helped wounded veterans is now also trying to help the people caring for those veterans.

The Wounded Warrior Family Support group says it is launching a new program to support caregivers.

Taking care of a wounded veteran can be demanding, so the group is offering services to provide breaks, child care services and other help for caregivers.

The Wounded Warriors group can also help families apply for assistance from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
