The Saunders County attorney says he's awaiting a report about a firetruck crash before deciding whether to charge the volunteer firefighter who was driving.

The sheriff's office says the fire crew was responding to a fire
in Valparaiso when the accident occurred Sunday night. The driver
missed a turn and the truck ran off the roadway into a ditch. It
had to be towed out.

No injuries have been reported.

The driver was cited on suspicion of drunken driving.

Saunders County Attorney Scott Tingelhoff said Thursday that
he'll make a decision about prosecution after he reviews the
report. No charges have been filed so far.
